Choosing the Best Breast Implant Profile  Breast profile of a blonde woman in a black lace see through shirt

Breast implants can enhance your breast size, shape, projection, and cleavage. This procedure, known as a breast augmentation, has helped millions of women achieve the fuller, more shapely and attractive breasts that they desire.

These implants are offered with a wide variety of options that involve more than just choosing between saline or silicone. Many women do not realize that in addition to implant material and size, there are also different implant profiles to choose from that will affect how the breasts will project from the chest.

Implant Profile → Breast Projection

The implant profile influences the effects on the shape of the breast in regards to the width and projection. Implants today generally come in ultra/super high, high, moderate, or low profiles. The higher profile ones have a narrower width but greater projection compared to implants of a similar size but with a lower profile. The moderate and low profile ones are broader and project outward less than the high or ultra (super) high ones.
